    Hi. My site is about to be ready and made a few listings as Admin. Now I need to change the author of listings. How can I attribute listings to other member? Thanks in advance.

    Use the author field to change the author.
    Edit the listing through the backend. Author is only available through the backend editor.
    At the bottom of the listing edit form you should see the author field.
    If you do not see that, scroll to the top and select “Screen Options” and choose to show author.
    Use the author field to change the author.

    Thank you for your reply Alex. I managed to located the author section located near the bottom of the edit page. However I am (the Admin) only show when I click the the dropdown box. No other members from the dropdown. Pls see attached screenshot

    Okay I got it now. I need to set the member as Author to be able to attribute the listings.

    Followup question to this topic:
    Can I create a new roles and set as default when user register to site? What is the best compatible wp user role editor for wpg?

    Geodirectory does not have a feature for setting or managing roles.
