Author Access to writing posts

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi, I’m using Supreme Theme and apparently users with author status cannot get access to the post writing area. Is there a way to give them permission and access to writing blog posts without granting them admin status?

    Hi,

    yes, in GeoDirectory >> General >> Allow user to see wp-admin area, if you set that to yes, it will allow users to see what their role is capable of seeing of the wp dashboard area.

    If they are author, they will be able to add posts too.

    What if I want to wp-admin area to be visible only for authors and those that are higher not for regular users and subscribers?
    Can I do that?

    Not out of the box… Maybe with a role manager plugin or something.
