Author page into main navigation page

    Hi,
    I want to get the author page (mainly the author listings to edit current lisitngs) into my primary navigation. Is there a way to do this without using the GD dashboard login widget? Have tried to create a template to change the url depending on userid but unsure how to, thoughts?

    The author link is a dynamic link, so that is not possible just like that.

    One solution is to use BuddyPress and the BuddyPress-GeoDirectory integration plugin. Then you can add login and profile/author links in your menu.
    (Your GD author and BP member page will be the one page).

    But if the url is site/author/USERID/?geodir_dashboard=true&stype=gd_place
    is there not a way to replace userID with the person logged in using php with current userid variable in wordpress?

    Not without using BP or using the GD login widget.
