    I hear that “author” of listings can only show up if I use the “Claim Listing” plugin but this doesn’t do it for me since I have other types of listings other than business listings – like “Events” and “Petitions”, etc.

    Is there any way to automatically show the author name linking to their buddypress profile (for example) on the sidebar of the details page of each listing?

    Hello,

    If you use our claim listing manager it will solve your problems, you will get a link to the users BP profile on the page and you can set what CPT’s to activate it on so you can disable it for some and have it active for others.
