Auto Renew Not Working

    Hi there,

    One of my members has claimed her listing profile and set up the auto-renewal option. Here’s the link to the profile: https://internationaltherapistdirectory.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=6159&action=edit&classic-editor=1

    It was set to expire on November 28, 2019. However, when that date came, there was no payment made from PayPal to my account. Further, the listing profile showed as past due on the back end of the website, but it stayed active (published) on the site.

    I went in the back end and re-set the renewal date to December 5, 2019 to try it again, but same thing today… no payment received and it says 0 days remaining, yet it’s still published to the site.

    Seems like something is wrong here, and I haven’t run into this with anyone else.

    Any suggestions for how this can be fixed?

    I am guessing that this is a recurring package because you are expecting some automated payment on expiry.
    This will only work if the listing has been created from the frontend and the customer has entered into an agreement with PayPal that allows for automatic payments.
    It is the anniversary of that agreement at PayPal that triggers the automatic payments.
    Changing anything in the backend of your site does not change anything of the agreement between your customer and PayPal.
