Automatic location descriptions

Hello,

is it possible to set city, region and country location descriptions somehow automatically, rather than going into each individual one and copying/editing text?

E.g., something like: ‘Find wonderful presents in %location% – browse the map above, or use the Search Bar below for more advanced searching’

– thinking about it, can I set up some sort of similar arrangement using the location page as a template, but with the changes according to location using %location%, and if so how?

I am using the Location Description widget, but this just adds a title to location pages – and doesn’t display if there is no location description set for that city/country etc (otherwise I would just have added more info to that widget to be displayed on all location pages!)

As it is I have to think about manually adding location descriptions to all cities, regions, countries etc – even if the are all the same/similar. Would a solution be for you to add a text box to the Location Description widget, to be put on the location page in the absence of manually entered location description?

I will continue to have a play and see what I come up with…
