I live in China so when not using a VPN Google Maps is blocked. With V1 OpenStreetMaps would open when I was not using a VPN and had Automatic chosen for maps. However with V2 this is not happening. When it is unable to load Google Maps it does not switch to OpenStreets. I have tried on multiple devices.
Thanks!

December 11, 2018 at 1:54 am #457966Thanks for helping with this. After about 30 seconds openstreet maps loads. However, it shows the entire world. And none of the pins or icons show on the map. When I got on VPN,Google Maps still loads pins but open streets is not showing them.
Thanks!
December 11, 2018 at 10:10 am #457992Hello,
I am unable to login with the credentials above, invalid username.
December 11, 2018 at 12:42 pm #458010I just used it to log in. Nothing has been changed since the first time you logged in. Thanks.
December 11, 2018 at 5:28 pm #458041The /location/ page loads the map just fine with several markers and not the whole world using OSM.
I am still unable to login but have flagged your topic to let someone else check if they can login.

I have applied patch to your site again. Please try after clearing your browser cache & also fi you have any caching feature enable via plugin then also clear that cache.
We need confirmation from your side because this happening for specific country with Google JS API. So once you confirm it works then we will update this in core.
Let us know.
Thanks,
KiranDecember 12, 2018 at 6:01 am #458095Hi Kiran,
I checked and it is now working. The markers show up now without a problem. It does take about 45 to 50 seconds for it to choose the OSM map. Not sure if anything can be done to speed that up or not.
Regarding the patch, do I need to avoid the plugin updates or will this be added to core for next update?
Thanks,
Chris
December 12, 2018 at 7:27 am #458100I spoke too quickly. OSM maps is working but now Google Maps does not work. Google Maps will load when I am on VPN but it does not show any markers. It shows me the entire world with no markers. This is true on /location page and also each place listing page.
I am also receiving this notification on each place listing – ADMIN NOTICE: The
gd_single_closed_textshortcode has been deprecated and should be replaced with
gd_notificationsshortcode/block/widget.
