    Hi,
With the improvements in cameras these days 2mb is not a high enough file size for image uploads, however I don’t want to slow my site down by increasing the image file allowance too much. Can you please let me know if there is any way through the Supreme Directory to automatically reduce file size? Or if there are any compatible plugins that will do this?
    Thanks
    Phoebe

    Hi Phoebe,

You can only achieve this with a 3rd party plugin. We do not have a recommendation at the moment , but you can try some of these and see if it helps https://www.designbombs.com/best-image-optimization-wordpress-plugins/

    Thanks!

Most of the images will be reduced automatically when uploaded 🙂
Are you having problems with the featured image?

    Thanks,

No not the featured image. When people try to upload photos to a listing it won’t allow any higher than 2mb. It would be great if they could upload higher quality photos then they were reduced automatically once uploaded.

    Hi,

that is a server setting and you can be override it from your php.ini

Please ask to your server admin to increase the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini to whatever you prefer.

    He’ll know what to do.

    Thanks
