Hello, I see the suggested settings for AO here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/

However, it also says that it’s for V1. Do we have an updated guide for V2? In addition, is there any way to get a bit more info on the excluded scripts? I’m not using some of the features of the plugin, so having scripts optimized shouldn’t affect the site/functionality, but it could improve my load speeds.

    Thank you!

    Hi Joy,

Thanks for your post. You can use the options here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/ from v1. A cache plugin will not solve all loading speed issues. Go through a GT Metrix report and follow the recommendations to improve your Website loading speed. Maybe you should start looking at optimizing images on your Website.

Okay, glad to know that the settings for V1 were still applicable with V2. Thank you!

    Hi @Kor,

Quick question, this is the shortcode that is being used in my archive detail for my photo (this was the default), [gd_post_images type=’image’ ajax_load=’true’ link_to=’post’ show_logo=’true’ image_size=”medium”]

However, it seems that the full size image is still being called based on my check gtmetrix.com, can you please have a look?

    luckywelivehere.com, thank you.

The images are served responsively by WordPress, so, the browser is telling WP what the image viewport size is, and WP is serving the image that it thinks is best. The GD setting is best considered to be a suggestion. It is useful for specifying the thumbnail, but, in other cases it will not override WP if WP decides that a larger image is needed to fill the space available.
