    Hi there,

Avada working…. and installed all Avada compatibilty components that you supply….but a couple of issues.

Homepage: Map is to the left. I have the GDHome Map in the GD Home Top Section but it’s to the left. See here: http://childcarefinder.ie/

The buttons on the login/register/search bar etc etc are small, grey and like something from very old websites…. the buttons on the GD Franework theme were way better. What am I missing as I guess it’s not meant to look like that!

    Thanks in advance

    Adrian

Also meant to say that the header is green in IE but blue (as set) in Chrome.

Hi Adrian, to make the map full width you need to set the width to 100%, in the widget in “GD Home Top Section” (widget is GD Map home Page).

About the buttons…they can be styled as you want

Also… IN IE 8…. the site when you browse to it refreshes what seems like about 10 times automatically and then says “Operation Aborted” in a popup window. Not sure why this could be happening?

Sorry, but I bought Avada and so many problems so far with it and this theme! I hide the “Page Title Bar” in Theme Options…. works perfectly for pages I created myself (for example http://childcarefinder.ie/page-1/) but not for GD Native/Built in pages (for example http://childcarefinder.ie/childcare/).

Thanks Simone, appreciate the fast reply…. have you a handle on every button or is there a way that I could style all buttons with one change?

Unfortunately no, for example, the “find childcare” button is using the class named “geodir_submit_search” while the Advanced Search button is using “showFilters” class.
Once you create your style, it’s just a matter of copy-paste in your style.css, for each class

To help you on the IE8 reloading problem… I found this

    https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/panoramio-bugs/aeA72arlEV8

Appears to be Google Maps releated… when I browse to pages that dont have google maps on them I dont always get this issue in IE8

some of the Avada Settings are not available on GD, and the title is one of them because the childcare page isn’t a WordPress page (handled by Avada)

I think I can get round it by setting it to have a height of zero… just for anyone else looking about this
