    Hi,
Is there a workaround to having either only admin or all users have access to the back end? I’d like to assigne a role like editor to specific people who are helping me out and give them restricted back end access, but I want all other contributors/users to only have access to the front end.

    Thanks

You can set GD > General tab > Allow user to see wp-admin area > YES
Subscribers will only be able to change their password and email address, they will not have access to anything else.

You can also use some user role plugins to assign certain privileges to different user levels too.

Thank you. I’m adding this question here because it’s related – is there a way I can have a front end profile page for regular users who want to change their password? I don’t like having them in the back end. Thanks.

    HI,

not really at the mometn without another plugin like buddypress. We are building our own plugin for users management and it will be compatible with GeoDirectory, however we are not done with it yet.

    Thanks
