Banner Advertising

    Having previously used PHPmyDirectory I have been making recommendations in terms of bringing over what worked well on that platform into GeoDirectory.

    One thing I don’t think I have mentioned before is that on PMD a listing owner (depending on the package privileges) could run banner advertising. These banners would be displayed in the side column throughout the website on non-listing pages.

    I gather that these internal links are good for SEO, but they are also good to prolong the visitor duration by enticing the visitor to explore other pages. Of course they are also beneficial for promoting the banner advert owner’s message.

    I wondered if this could be considered for the future?

    we are working on an Advertising plugin, and we plan to release it as soon as it is ready to go.
