    Hey there

I do like your plugin! I just redesign my site and a part of this will be local stores. I do not have a real support issue, rather I need advice, so i can build-up all correct and don’t have to change later on a whole lot.

At this point, it is only 1 category! Stores for used cloths…. Since a user will search for region, I started to used “category” as a region. See here http://bakibo.ch.quarz.ch-meta.net/gd-home/

On top “Nach Kanton” which is like “by Region”.

That will work, since i really have only 1 category. Otherwise it will be wired for user if there is 1 category with like 280 entries…

So that might work so far.

Within the next week, I want to ad a new ad-on which is “event”. The difference is, that there are local events where people meet to exchange used goods. So that will be, i guess, a new category. Or how would you handle that?

With that, I will have like 26 “categories” (which i actually use as region) and 1 category with event. That might be a little confusing as well?

Looking forward to any inputs from experienced users!

Locations are best organised with the Location Manager, rather than categories.
The Events addon uses its own categories.

So if you use a category “basel” for listings, that category can never show events in Basel.
Even if you create a “basel” category for the Events addon, they are 2 different categories.

But if you use the Location Manager, and use a category “shops” in Places, and “meetings” in Events, then both these categories will show on the Basel page.

Here are some links to review:

    Thanks
