Basic start install – already activated theme

    hi – newbie question.
    I’m up to the part of installation where you tell me not to activate parent theme – but had already activated! Therefore child theme upload of Supreme Directory can’t upload.
    Went back to default wp theme but same block happens when I try and upload Supreme directory file.
    What to do now?

    Hi Leigh,

    Thanks for your post. According to the error message, it says that you’ve installed the Supreme Directory Child theme. Did you install the parent theme “Directory Starter” https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/directory-starter/ ? You need it before activating the Supreme Directory Child Theme. If you’re not sure, share WP admin access in private reply and we’ll see what’s going on.

    Hi Kor, just wondering how the menu has messed up? I’ve got a repeat of pages.
    When I go to wp admin for menus it shows only what i need, also in customise >menus I just have what I need. Not sure how to fix?
