    Hi there,

    Calling all Beaver Builder users. There is a BB/GD integration plugin in the pipeline similar (I presume) to the Pods/ACF/Metabox plugins that allow you to pull in dynamic content from your custom fields and allow you to use GD custom field shortcodes which currently don’t work with BB. If you’re using Beaver Themer you’ll know how powerful that will be in combination with GD so if you’re interested in helping contribute towards getting this plugin developed then please post a private comment with your contact details and the developer will be in touch.

    We have been working through any Beaver Builder issues and believe most things can now be done, if you have found anything that can’t please let us know.

    Hi Stiofan,

    Many thanks for your reply. What I showed in the video yesterday still isn’t working for me. Again a short video below to show in what way is easier than describing it. Am I missing something if you managed to do this? I was under the impression that because GD use custom db tables that BB wouldn’t recognise the custom fields which is why I was looking for a BB/GD integration plugin to be developed.

    At around 1:03, just before the end of the video you can also see something odd happening which is the icons on the buttons have been replaced by flashing question marks. I’m not too worried bothered about this at the moment as it might just be the workaround I’ve had to use is causing strange behaviour but I thought I’d mention it. The icons are fine when editing, they flash on the frontend.

    Hi Diane,

    I understand better what you mean now and i have added a fix for this which will be in the next release where you will be able to use GD post meta by simply prefixing it with “geodir_” so it would be “geodir_facebook”, if you want to provide wp-admin and FTP details i can update your site to the latest for you to test?

    The icon flashing is an issue with BB, its still using Font Awesome v4 and not v5, some things have slightly different names now which i guess is the issue there.

    I just wanted to say thanks again and this is really appreciated. It’s been a long day so I’ve just had a quick play around and it seems to be working great. I might have found a bug but it could just be my tiredness so I’ll test again tomorrow. Where is the best place to report bugs for this?

    The WP post meta just grabs the raw info, i changed those to use our GD post meta shortcode and it works good.

    Oh that’s brilliant! I was hoping to be able to access the shortcodes via the tinymce in the BB modules as it didn’t work before so that’s perfect! Thanks a million
