    Hi

I am trying to layout a location page including search bar using Beaver Builder.
I would like the search bar to be always open. I have set this correctly in the widget settings but, it does not change and remains in the closed state.
It does open when the small gear icon is clicked.
It also works correctly when I insert the widget directly into the page from wordpress widgets control panel.

    Thanks

    Dean

Try using a shortcode. With builders it is generally better to use shortcodes.

    Hi Alex

    Thanks for the information.
It looks like a lot of the design elements that were included in the design tab have been moved in the new version?

That’s ok but is there a list of the shortcodes syntax available I can use? eg. what elements/settings work together when building a shortcode.

I know I can use the shortcode builder and I can also add a GD block to a page and copy the shortcode syntax from their if I need to. But it’s not clear if I am able to add all the settings.
For example the listings description word limit. Is this now controlled using CSS, or is there some other way I can do this?

    Cheers

    Dean

That is a param for GD Post Content element.

All the parameters are available in the shortcode builder.

You can find it in any text editor or HTML module in BB.
