best wpgeodirectory hosts?

    hi all,

    i’d like to know if there are any recommended hosts wp geodirectory runs on out of the box.

    sure, i know it “should” run great on any host, but we all know that’s seldom how it actually works.

    rather than wasting time bouncing around from host to host, i’d appreciate any feedback on great hosts for wp geodirectory where things worked properly out of the box requiring as little troubleshooting as possible.

    by any chance do you have a direct contact at cloudways for wpgeodirectory customers?

    it appears their signup process is under construction.

    you have to apply for a free account, yet after doing that they request you verify your account by live chat which currently isn’t functional.

    i’d like to get setup with them as per your server requirements but hoping i am not just in limbo waiting around while they update their site.

    Thanks Paolo – Yes just checked email and it got thru – its only a forward – but I am online right now with them too. It should be noted the site “IS” definitely being revamped and may have a quirk front end but can be seen here until we get the front end done over:

    as charles mentioned, i did get in touch with him & i wanted to post to let everyone know what an asset his services are to the gd community.

    he had my sites setup literally in minutes!

    although i am new here to the gd community, i am no stranger to haggling with hosts, never getting things setup properly & then having to switch hosts over & over.

    it was such a pleasant surprise to deal with charles & spectrum hosting!

    not only was the hosting account ready to use within the my services area within a minute or two, but i was actually able to click thru into cpanel before my account details email even arrived!

    so for those who don’t know this & are looking for a real gd host, charles has them perfectly optimized for gd right out of the box.

    likewise, he patiently & very professionally answered every question i had as well as made some awesome recommendations as to how i should set things up as to avoid any potential issues down the road.

    it’s such a positive experience i wanted to post & let everyone know that this is seriously the best gd host you can find. there’s no way cloudways would have provided this level of support or been this knowledgeable about gd.

    so don’t let the re-vamping of the site at the present moment fool you if you are needing real gd hosting. they will have you up & running in minutes perfectly optimized for gd.
