    Hi WPGeo team!

I’m working with Geodirectory, Buddypress (plus the BuddyPress Integration plugin) in combination with the Boss Theme.

I needed to add a few lines of custom css to make it look OK but overall it works out of the box. There are only some pages I can’t get fixed. I was wondering if you could maybe take a look and tell me what to do.

For example: this page looks perfect: https://goo.gl/5hXnT4
But this one is messed up: https://goo.gl/LCJ5bc

On this page the dropdown menu does not work, and in the list view suddenly has a very short description. Also the dropdown looks different than on other pages: https://goo.gl/S2xbLe

I hope you can help me.
    Thanks!

    Hi L,

I’m able to see the compatibility issue you’re referring to. I’ll forward this to a developer for further assistance. Meanwhile, please share WP admin access and FTP access in private reply.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

thank you for getting back to us with the access details.

Your topic has been flagged, and we thank you for your patience while the developers look into it.

They will add information to the theme compatibility settings and you can back that up once they have finished.

    Hi Stiofan and Alex,

The website that looked messy looks good now, but now all other listing pages look messy 🙂

Like the example I posted in the first post: https://goo.gl/5hXnT4

On the fixed page the upper widget (GD > Popular Post Category) covers the whole main screen now, and pushes the right sidebar down. Originally it was only shown in the middle.

Plus the dropdown to change the grid does not work.

    Hi Louis,

Yes, this theme is a pain 🙂
I added some CSS to the archive like i did for the author page but it has the same problem of pushing the sidebar down, it might be best to remove those top widgets for now or add them to the sidebar.

The select boxes not working is a known issue with that them, unfortunately it applies its custom JS to ALL select boxes, the only way to stop it is to disable it completely which will mean it will just show standard selects everywhere.

On a positive note, i am doing some GDv2 alpha testing just now and the layouts and pages all work straight out the box with that theme (as it should with all themes) 🙂

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

Thank you for the explanation. Maybe I should wait for the v2 software, I still have enough work to do before the release of the website.

I have one more question, when I add the categories to the left ‘Buddypanel’ sidebar they all appear as one ‘block’ in one menu item. Is there a way to solve this and make them all separate menu items? The only think I can come up with now is use a Customs Links widget and link to the category pages, but this isn’t practical when categories and menu change.

    Thanks Louis

The menu thing will be fixed in GDv2 also 🙂
