    Hi GD-Team,

    my breadcrumb contains an error:

    Instead of containing a link to my site’s city-url it contains a link to a strange website http://www.er.com in combination with my link-directory-structure of my city-url.

    Home -> [custom post type root] -> [city-url] -> [detailpage / listingpage]

    All links are correct except for the [city-url] Link forwarding to “er.com” instead of my domain.

    Do you need any further information to comprehend my problem?

    Regards

    chris

    Hi Vikas,

    my URL is not http://www.er.com (with the coming soon text)- it’s the url of an external, unknown site, my breadcrumb-city-link forwards to and shouldn’t.

    Take a look at my example-site. I sent you a working link by pm a few minutes ago.

    unfortunately your domain contains the city name in it (Moenchengladbach),
    so program replaces city name to blank in ur domain http://www.moenchengladbacher.com/ and it becomes http://www.er.com/ and creates problem.
    I will fix this issue and it will work fine in next release.

    Thanks

    Okay, next release could take a few days or not?

    Is there a way of hot-fixing this problem – for example by hiding the city-slug in the breadcrumb until the next release?

    Hi Chris

    Go to Permalinks in GD settings and untick “Add location in urls”.

    Or you can just add

    .geodir-breadcrumb ul {
    visibility: hidden;
    }

    to your Quick code in the GDF Options. That’ll remove the breadcrumbs altogether, so visitors can still use the search and the header menu.

    subscribing as I have the same issue – all in the domain, all is being added in the breadcrumbs (despite me not wanting this false administrative taxonomy to be added).

    looking forward to the release.
