My breadcrumbs on listing pages are linking to the /places/ directory instead of /location/

    https://www.restorationlocal.com/places/oklahoma/mustang-ok/bio-one-okc/

    https://www.restorationlocal.com/places/oklahoma/mustang-ok/ – doesnt work

https://www.restorationlocal.com/location/united-states/oklahoma/mustang-ok/ – is the real Mustang Oklahoma page

That is correct. Detail pages breadcrumbs link back to location specific category pages, not the location pages.
The GD Home/Location pages can only be accessed using the Location Switcher.

    Thanks

Those dont exist though – they 404 error? Why would they link to something that 404 errors??

You need to clear caches and resave WP permalinks after changing any of the GD Permalink settings.
The links should go to https://www.restorationlocal.com/places/united-states/oklahoma/ etc.
Please post your WP admin login details if we need to have a closer look.
    Thanks

I changed your setting at GD > Multilocations > Hide country part of url for LISTING, CPT and LOCATION pages? > YES

    Please check, thanks.

Why does that need to be hidden? Cant the breadcrumbs work properly with that set?

Bump – this was a pretty drastic change that changed permalinks, I’d like to hear solutions.

    Hello,

Is this problem a recent thing? (was it working before)
The links are set depending on a PHP session, something might be affecting that.

Yes – I posted this less than a week ago. Guust changed a setting, thus changing permalinks for lots of pages without a real answer to if there was an issue, or if he ‘worked around it’

I think Guust found it not working and found a solution to make it work.
I was just trying to ascertain if it was a sudden thing, as in it worked before i did XYZ, before i did any deeper.
