    Hi,
I changed the API key for Google Maps to the free Open Street maps. On this site it really doesn’t matter which one I use as I don’t anticipate a large call for maps, but every since I changed it, nothing works. The site “blinks” and gets stuck on a search page.

I made a new Google API and key, re-inserted the new key and api and site is still broken.

I need some help in putting this back to right!

    Thanks,

    KRis

    Hi Kris Nelson,

I’ve inspected your Website and I noticed that your listings don’t have a category and it’s compulsory as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/place-categories-update/#need-to-know

    Hello,

Did you want to use maps?

If you want to use maps, then each listing needs a category because the MAP PIN is set with the category. Add the listing, assign a category, with the category goes the map pin.

Some of your categories don’t have map pins, so there is nothing to show on the map. When that happens it can possibly cause an error. When there is no category it will cause an error.

    Alex,

Site is still broken – all it does is “blink” – can’t add anything, can’t look at anything on the front end.

    Maps won’t work.

The only thing I changed was to switch from Google Map API to OSM and then back.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Kris
