Broken – Mark listing as a claimed by owner/manager

ALL listings are marked as claimed. If I uncheck the box in the backend WP editor, it re-checks itself.

Have you made the field required?
Visit the custom fields settings and click the Claim listing field, then click the blue button to show the advanced properties.

If it is set to required, uncheck it to make it not required and check your listing again.

So I looked at the field under Places > Settings, and I must have set the default valued to checked. The Claimed field is active, but it’s also set to “Admin only edit.” It is NOT required.

I think it’s working now, but now I have 500 listings that show claimed when they’re not. Any suggestions on bulk editing?

You can export them and mark them unclaimed (0)

It should not be Admin only if you want users to be able to claim listings.
