    Hope all in the GD team are safe and well, and remain so, whichever parts of the world you all are in.

    Wanted to check that when i post a GD post link in my Buddypress group, the preview is not shown, unlike it happens in a regular post. See attached image, where the first 2 are GD listing URLs and the 3rd is a regular post.

    Hmm…interesting. So BP has something for expanding links.

    I will take that up as a feature request for BuddyPress integration.

    Do you have a link to their codex for that?

    Hi Vivek,

    oEmbed urls are working for post types which supports ombed.

    Can you provide example of oEmbed url that worked in activity? Provide us a site link and admin credentials to check more.

    Hi Kiran, just an update on this- as you said need to check whether the embed issue is with GD or BP- the same issue appears even when embedding the URLs in a WP post, the normal Post url embeds properly, while GD post url does not, so this probably not a BP issue. (see attached)

    And its not even a conflict as the same issue appears with all plugins (except one for social logins) deactivated and theme 2019 also.

    Thanks, Alex, as i had mentioned above, this is not a Buddypress/ Buddypress Integration issue, nor is it an enhancement. The same issue is seen even when embedding a CPT listing URL in a WP post, while a embedding a WP post in another WP post works fine. Oembed has been native to WP for quite some time I understand so this is probably some issue with the CPTs.

    Its just that i first noticed this issue on Buddypress activity hence erroneously reported it as a BP/integration issue, but its really nothing to do with BP.

    Hi Vivek,

    This has been fixed and it will be in future release of GeoDirectory v2.0.0.85.
