buddypress translation file not showing on front-end

    I translated the buddypress-es_MX file from English to Spanish( some of it, not all) and sometimes I will see the translation and sometimes I will not.

    I cleared cache on my computer( google chrome) and also on Safari on both my iphone and on my macbook and I still see this intermittent issue.

    What can be going wrong? Is it an issue with the buddypress file? is there some kind of file corruption of some sort?

    I also have buddypress integration if that matters in any way.

    The issue is with buddypress because I can see the text in the translation file appear on my website so I know I’m translating the correct text.

    Please help.
