I don’t want to have this open/close message at the business hours. The old plugin had the option to disable and just display the hours.
    How do I do this?

We were not the authors of the old plugin and i literally never used it…
You can use CSS to remove any info you don’t want but if its closed for the whole day then we only display the Closed today” text so if you remove that then its not going to say anything…

Or you can ofcourse use ur own output function.

This is quite interesting. Your new solution is less flexible as the old one. You officially sold it.
It is a step beackwards for me.

A CSS hide is a bad solution. A crawler will recognize it and it might influence the scoring. This is not an option.

Overriding files is not the approach of WP for changing functions and behavior. For this you should use hooks. Please consider hooks for the customer requirements.

I’ll need to adjust how it works slightly but it should work like the rest of the meta, i’ll try and look at it on monday.
