    Hi There

Having a few issues at the moment:

I seem to be unable to add a listing from the frontend of my website as a regular user. The form appears, I complete it, but when I click submit, nothing happens.

When trying to review a location, it works from a desktop browser but on an iPhone or Android mobile using Safari or Chrome it won’t allow you to select stars.

Finally, the claim listing button doesn’t work – I click it, a black transparent box appears with a loading symbol but nothing actually loads…

I would be extremely grateful if someone could take a look for me. I will post login details separately in a private reply.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ben

    Hello!

Your site is not displaying the updates for your addons.

Are you running a script that might be blocking those?

please license and update your GD plugins with WP Easy Updates and we can take another look. WP Easy Updates current version is 1.17

    Update your themes, too!

    Hi Alex

I shouldn’t be running any scripts to block the updates, I only installed everything a few days ago. I have made sure the licence keys are updated and WP Easy Updates is installed and checked for the latest updates.

Thanks for your help again Alex 🙂

    Hello,

Something is blocking the updates because there are updates available.

I have flagged your topic for the developers to take a look to determine what is causing the problem.

We will update you when we have a solution.

If you have FTP it may end up being necessary for additional debugging, so please include those.

    Thanks

Just to let you guys know, I added a listing absolutely fine through the frontend of the website using my administrator credentials and tried again as a regular user and failed. You can complete the form, but when you press submit, it does nothing.

Maybe also as a point to note, when via the front end I try to upload an image for a listing I get a big red banner with ‘HTTP Error.’ in the image uploader…

The updates issue has been flagged for the developers to take a look; thanks for your patience while they look into it. Once they find the cause you can update the plugins and see if the issues remain.

Do you know if anyone has had a chance to take a look and found a fix?

    Hello Ben,

I have looked and found there is JavaScript error on add listing page. This error breaks the add listing functionality. This happens because you are using theme Directory Starter v1.x, please update it to v2.x. Because v1.x is not compatible GeoDirectory v2.x.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran

I have updated the Directory Starter theme and logged in as a regular user, gone through the add a listing form completing all the details, hit submit and nothing…

Claim listing is still not doing anything either.

On a plus note… You can now review business listings on an iPhone 🙂

What can we do next to get this working?

    Ben
