Can a single business be listed in multiple cities?

I noticed the add/edit page for users let them pick a city from a dropdown menu, but we want to give them ability to use something else like checkboxes or multi-select.

The reason is that our project is going to list these companies by service area, and not where they are physically located.

Obviously, this starts to raise other questions like ability to let the business choose something other than cities when defining their coverage area like proximity/radius/zip codes covered. This is not critical at the moment since they could in theory choose from a bunch of cities manually.
