Hi am using the ‘Ninja Forms’ to message the vendor of the listing.

The default Ninja for has “Name”, “Email” and “Message”. I would like to add one more field “Who referred you to me?”
Can I add this new field to the Ninja Form? If so how?
If not, how can I create a new message form with my own fields?

    Thank you.

Ninja Forms > Dashboard > GeoDirectory Contact Form > Edit > click the + sign in the bottom right corner > Drag a single line text field on to the form > edit the settings of the new field > Publish.

    Thanks

    Hi Rigots,

You can also refer to the article here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/ninja-forms/ that explains how to insert a new field.

Thank you. Adding the extra field worked, but the this ninja for is not working at all. The message does not get sent.

Please visite my post at: https://www.hirehomeservice.com/home-services/california/san-jose/real-estate-agent/professional-residential-real-estate-services-by-rigo-torres-coldwell-banker/

Then click on the “MESSAGE SERVICE PROVIDER” and fill the message and submit.

Not that you will get a message that says

    “Form submitted successfully.
A confirmation email was sent to YOUR EMAIL address.”

But neither the sender or the receiver get an email? Why is this not working? How can I fix it?

    Thank you.

Hi, I just found out that the message is being sent, but it was landing on the “Junk” mail for both the sender and the recipiente. Why?

What good is an email if it goes automatically to the junk mail. Is there anything I can do to prevent the email from going to junk mail?

    Thanks,
    Rigo

Are you using the same domain for the website address and the email address?

Edit the email content so the email is not so generic.

Check if your mail server is set up correctly: https://mxtoolbox.com/MXLookup.aspx

    Thanks

I am sad that the email send from the posts are still going to the junk mail of service providers.

My site is http://www.hirehomeservice.com and my original email in my wordpress was “MYUSERNAME@hirehomeservice.com”.

Emails send from the posts were going to spam. I thought my domain had been flagged and put on a blacklist. So I created a new gmail address and changed my wordpress to this new gmail account.

The emails sent form the email form in my posts are still going to junk email event with the new gmail account I created. The message says at the top “Why is this message in spam?” and then below that it says “It is similar to messages that were identified as spam in the past.”

So, I am guessing that the spam filter are detecting emails coming from this ninja forms as spam.

Are others tested this issue? Are their service request emails also going to the spam folder?

Is there any other advice on how to fix this? My recently created email can not have been black listed since I just created it.

    Thank you.

Have you tried rewording the default text and subject of the email, so it is no longer “… similar to messages that were identified as spam in the past.”?
