Hi, I am the owner of my website directory and some times I would like to help edit other users posts with my master account, but I am not able to.

In the Geo Directory V1 when I was logged in there was an option for me to “Edit” other users posts.

Now in Geo Directory V2 even if I am logged in there is no option for me to Edit other users post only my post. When I view other peoples post the “Edit” button has a check mark on it indicating the listing has been claimed and it does not allow me to edit other user posting.

Is there a way to configure Geodirectory V2 so I can edit the user’s profile right from their posting with my master account?

    Thank you.

    Hi rigots,

Thanks for your post. If you click on the edit button, it should bring you to the backend where “administrators” can edit any posts. Are you using some sort of “Role Editor” plugin to manipulate the user permissions?

It is not working that way.
I login with my admin account and then I open some other other user’s listing, I put the mouse cursor over “Edit” and the little hand shows up, but when I click on it nothing happens, it does not go into the edit screen.

Can you please check it out for me. I will send you credentials so you see and give me suggestions on what maybe going on here.

It looks like you have some custom CSS interfering with the link in the detail info section, might want to remove that.

I have added GD Author Actions in the sidebar and it works as expected. So does the edit link in the admin bar.
