Cannot delete fields from listing

    Hi!

    I am using the plugin with the CPT addon, so I can end up having 3 different types of listings.
    I have the already created one and I created to more.
    When I go to Geodirectory>Place Settings and try to delete a field from the right column it won’t do it though.
    What could be the problem?

    Hello Kat, is the field a default one? In this case you can’t delete it..but you can deactivate it (you can deactivate all fields).

    Hello Simone!

    To be honest that’s the first time I come across the term “default”. I hadn’t realized there are default fields and I thought I checked all docs. Would you mind giving me a link that explains that?

    I am trying to delete fields like Time, Email, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Are these default?

    How do I deactivate them? If there’s already documentation pls just point me to the right direction.

    The default are the fields you find the first time you open up the post type..so yes these are default ones 🙂
    If you expand each field you will find a drop down that says “active”… This is self explanatory isn’t it ?:) just switch it to “no” so the field will be deactivated
