Cannot delete tags on add listing

    When trying to delete a self defined tag on the add listing page (either by clicking the X or hitting delete on the keyboard), the field goes empty and then jumps to the first tag of the „Popular tags“ list.

    The select category field works though. Here you can delete any selected categories.

    The tag doesn’t delete for you?

    We can take a look at that, please share your site URL and also credentials along with the add listing URL.

    When I test it, if i have added 3 predefined tags, then a self-defined tag and pressed enter, then if I hit backspace I can edit the self-defined tag.

    Hmm…works for me, removing a tag I created through the front end form.

    Did my description sound right to you?

    Yes, your description sounded right to me an it works perfectly fine.

    But, in the rare case that I want to delete every single Tag I’ve entered (clicking the cross or hitting backspace until everything from the list ist gone) because I want to leave the tag field blank, this doesn’t work. I always get the first tag of the Popular tags reentered automatically.

    Same goes for the fa-icon in the Package settings. Once selected, I cannot get rid of it anymore.

    How are you trying to delete it? You leave yhe field empty and save?

    As I said, I am trying to delete entered tags by clicking on the little x on the left side of the tag, or by hitting backspace until every letter is gone. If I then click outside the box to continue filling out the next fields, one tag remains in the list.

    The Category field works behaves as expected. Please see my GIF animation.

    Ah, I see it now.

    Thanks for helping me understand, and I can confirm that is happening on my test site also.

    I will flag your topic for the developers to take a look when they come back to the office on Monday.
