Cannot get Google Analytics to work

    Hi,

    I’ve followed the guide to set up Google Analytics, however it will not display on my listing details pages. I am getting the error: “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED” and I think it might be related but am not sure.

    Do you have any ideas whether they are related? Or why Google Analytics are not being displayed even though it’s been configured?

    “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED” has nothing to do with Google Analytics.
    Are your price packages set to allow Google Analytics?

    I changed GD > General > Google Analytics > Show business owner google analytics stats? > YES [it was set to NO].
    Your price packages at GD > Prices and Payments, need Google Analytics set to yes.

    Thanks for your help Guust, however whenever I go to GD > General, I’m still getting the error message: “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED” – how do I fix this up?

    You need a HTTPS website to allow geolocation. You will need to install a SSL certificate.

    I do have an SSL certificate installed on my website: please see https://www.simplfi-mockups.com.au

    Could it be caused by anything else?

    It works fine for me now. Make sure that you clear any browser settings that deny geolocation for your site.
    The earlier link you gave wasn’t HTTPS so clear all caches or try another browser.

    It’s still not working for me … I have tried clearing cache and have used multiple browsers but I still get the same error every time. See the img attached.

    This is your error:

    Geocoding Service: This API project is not authorized to use this API. For more information on authentication and Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

    You need to make sure the current URL is authorised as a valid HTTP referrer.
