Cannot select multiple categories for listing

    I am adding listings, to test how GD works and how I should best set it up. I cannot however, select more than one category for a listing.

    Found this thread: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/only-1-category-accepted/ but the instructions there make no sense to me.

    I must have done something wrong, or skipped something, but it is not clear what. I have installed the addons: CPT, Location Manager, and Advanced Search.

    Is the field a select (drop down) or a multiselect (showing boxes around each category?

    You can include WP Admin in a private reply so we can check the settings.

    You can verify that your Category field is set to “Multiselect” at

    CPT (Places), Settings, Custom Fields, Category, Show Advanced, Category display type -> Multiselect

    Hello Alex,

    I am in v2 so the sequence of CPT, Settings, Custom Fields etc. I do not recognize.

    So, if your CPT is called Marketing Tools, then

    Marketing Tools (CPT), Settings, Custom Fields, Category (Field), Show Advanced, Category display type -> Multiselect

    Your database conversion did not work somehow, you have no custom fields in any of your CPTs [see image].
    It may be simplest to de-activate all plugins, delete your database, and create a new database, and start again wit a clean database.
