I’m seeing warnings in the WordPress Dashboard in very big letters that I need to upgrade to v2. I can see that my front end is broken now: all GD functionality seems to have been disabled.

In the GD v1 to v2 conversion screen, I am told that GeoDirectory Advance Search Filters is required to convert plugin. I have purchased lifetime licenses for several plugins, but this is not one of them.

Is it the case that I cannot upgrade without making an additional purchase?

I tried dropping the GD advanced search table from MySQL database, which was empty, but the error persists.

My site is broken and I really hope there’s a way to fix it. Thank you.

    Hello,

If you don’t have access to all the addons you need then you should downgrade to v1, there is a button there to do that (and re-save permalinks after).

If you don’t need the required plugins there is a way to force it through, but make sure u don’t need them. (its checking for old version numbers stored in the options table)

Thank you for your prompt and accurate help as usual, Stiofan.

I found the relevant rows in the options table and dropping them allowed the upgrade to complete.
