Can't add categories in a menu

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I wanted to create a new categories menu but there arent any of my categories available.
    I see only “general”, its the only “category” that is available.

    could this be because i am running custom post types?

    Hello,

    I am not exaclt sure what you mean, but if you mean the normal menu page try going to “Screen Options” (top right) and selecting the CTP stuff you want to show.

    Let us know if that is it.
