cant add new listings

    I set default area no problem
    i add new listing to that area but it wont let me change the location to where it should be

    if i try to drag the maker into position it just springs back to default that was created when i set the area

    even just moving the marker on map a few feet it still springs back so its impossible to add multiple listings

    anyone had this problem?

    With the free version, you can only add listings to one location.
    You should get an error message when trying to add a listing outside the default area.
    Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, and we will have a look at your setup if you want.

    Hi,

    I believe this is about this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/2issues

    I’ve tested on a demo with only the core plugin installed setting default location as Stourbridge. It returned region Worcestershire, not West Midlands for some reasons.

    When i drag the marker around Stourbridge I get the addresses as I should and the marker doesn’t spring back to the default location.

    I’ve tested :

    Bromsgrove Rd
    Vine Ln
    Stourbridge Rd

    They all worked, there must be something wrong in your settings.

    Hi,

    I think I’ve found the problem.

    In one of my demos I’ve activated the location manager to see what it would return when dragging the marker in Kinver.

    Google Maps API data reports that to be : Stourbirdge, Staffordshire, UK instead of Kinver, Staffordshire, UK.

    We will need Stiofan’s help to fix it as it quite strange.

    I’ve flagged this for him and he’ll report asap.

    Hello,

    Is the problem that you want the city to be Kinver but it returns Stourbridge?
    If your site is just to locate places in Kinver (which i assume it is) then we might be able to add a code snippet to resole this, or if you decide to become a paid member the locations manager would be able to accomplish this with just settings.

    yes i only need this to work for Kinver area
    seams i have new issue showing today, the maps are not displaying anymore 🙁
