Can't EDIT custom posts

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    thanks you solved the 20 character limit
    Now lowered to 17 great BUT
    Now to edit as gd_ is added by system the edit is impossible.
    I did want to edit the order
    if used 17 characters in original custom post type

    appreciate if looked into as soon as you can
