I’m getting an error with the GD Near Me button widget. Anytime someone clicks on it, the console comes up with the error

ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: gdLocationError for geGetLocationNearMe.

Any ideas why this is happening? The site is

    http://options.wahousinghub.org.au

    Thanks

What are your settings at GD > Advanced Search > geolocation settings?

This might come in handy too:

    Hi,

we can’t recreate this in our test websites. The problem could be due to a conflict with another plugin. Have you tried deactivating all non GD plugins to see if the problem goes away?

If not, we would need your wp admin credentials to have a look.

    Thx

Hu Guust – I’ve cleared geo-location settings and tried in a multitude of different browsers and it doesn’t work on any. I don’t have the Advanced Search add-on, do you need this for the ‘Near me’ widget to work?

Paolo – I’ve deactivated all other plugins and tested and it still comes up with the error. Have you got any other suggestions? If not I could send you my admin details.

From my testing (twice) it seems that you need to have the Advanced Search addon activated before the Near Me button will work.
If that is correct, then that widget should not show up unless you have the Advanced Search addon activated.
    Paolo, can you confirm this?

    Hi Patrick,

we added this as a task for developers to look into it. Your wp admin credentials to check would definitely help.

    Let us know,

    Thx

    Hi Paolo

I’ll create you an admin account to have a look. How do I send these privately? Does the Set as private reply button only allow you to view these?

In the meantime I’ll get the advanced search plugin from theme tailors.

    Thanks

Setting as private reply allows only admins and whoever started the topic to view the message, so only you and GD admin staff can see the details.
