Can't pinpoint map in default city

    Hi

    I have set my default location as Beppu, Japan (pic 1) However, when I try to add a place to it, and hit ‘set address on map’ it says ‘Please choose a place in your default location(Beppu)’ but Beppu is already my default location(Pic 2).

    My findings
    First I found that putting in only ZIP code works, IF you put NO NUMBERS into the address(PICS 4). However in real life this is not usable, since putting only zip code gives you the AREA of where your place is, but not where EXACTLY your place is.

    If you want to add listings outside your default location, you need the Location Manager addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
