cant set default location when installing core plug in

Hi guys,

I plugged in Google Maps API (even though may want to switch to OpenStreets at some point).

The step when it comes to Set Default Location in the steps for Basic Installation.

I did Design>Map put in my key and set it to Load Automatic, Saved.

Then I go to Set Default Location and I have tried both ways to do this but can’t get it going.

The map is not moving and the Set Address on Map still shows China when I want it to show Los Angeles every time I save changes.

Any suggestions of how I can proceed with the installation?

Also in the future, is there some documentation on how to convert from Google Maps API to Open Street Maps?

I think it took time for the Google Maps API to take maybe? but it works now.

Is there any documentation in case I get tired of Google Maps and their recent pricing.

Is it hard to switch from Google Maps to Open Street Maps?

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply and I’m glad that you sorted it out yourself. To switch to openmaps, you just need to change the option here as shown in the attached image.
