    Greetings:

3 weeks ago, I posted a request for support concerning an issue with Font Awesome 5.

Your people, as usual, did a great job, accessing my site backend and solving it all.

Indeed, Stiofan updated my install and shortly after, a new GD version came out which solved apparently that specific problem for all users.

Since then however, I can’t update automatically my GD version (see attached) with this new install.

There is no file also that I can download separately to do it manually.

Everything works well with the plugin right now but this does not look normal and I hate having an indicator for a newer version that I can’t turn off.

And I’m wondering what’s going to happen when another version comes out!

    What do you think?

    Thanks,

    Guy

    Hi,
You can try disabling non-GD addons to see if one of them is causing a conflict with WP Easy Updates.
please share WP Admin so we can check on the issue and find a solution.

I have flagged your question for the developers to take a look. Thanks for your patience while they do that

    Hello Guy,

It looks like the folder permissions on your site /wp-content/plugins or /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory folder are not correct, or maybe the FTP owner is not the same as the cpanel owner?

Can you check that the folder permissions for /wp-content/plugins or /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory is set to CHMOD 755 for folders & 644 for files.

If this not resolve the problem then provide us FTP credentials to look into more.

    Thanks,
    Kiran
