Can't Upload Images

    Hi. When we attempt to upload images for a Geo listing, the image on the backend appears as a blank square, and on the frontend, it displays either the file name or, again, a blank white image. See attached screenshots. Images uploaded to pages or blogs or any other area of the site and with no problem. This only occurs with GeoDirectory listings. Please help! We can’t post any new events or businesses.

    Hi Kor. Thanks. Yes, have tested across three different browsers (Safari, Chrome and I.E.) and two different users (one in the US and one in the Caribbean) and are we are able to reproduce the error repeatedly. It looks fine when you uploaded it, it disappears once you save the listing. At that point, if you try to view it on a page, it is blank, then when you go back in to edit the listing, it is also blank in the featured and upload areas.

    settings > media > Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders

    MUST be enabled. It is not on your website.

    Whew, thank you Paolo. We installed an image compression plugin (now uninstalled) and it made a mess of things.

    As far as I know there is no plugin that works out of the box with plpupload.

    I’ll ask to Stiofan if we can tweak one to make it compatible.

    I told you that nothing is available and that we’d check if we could make one available. This is not a top priority for us at the moment though…
