Categories and Subcategories

    On the homepage, is it possible to show top-level categories first instead of “Popular Categories”?

    Although the widget is called “Popular Categories”, it actually shows all categories.

    Ok, but if I’m going to have “places” listed from several different countries, I’d rather not have subcategories show up. I’d rather have just top-level categories. So if the user clicks on United States, and they are brought to the listings under United States, at the top, they should see the subcategories listed under United States.

    They will see all categories listed, and the listing count next to the category name will show the number of listings in the particular location.
    The home/location map also shows the categories in a legend on the map itself, so you could remove the “Popular Categories” widget on the home/location page.
