Categories not showing

    The documentation reads – “By default, all categories are ticked on the map when you enter a location page”, but I only have one showing and can’t figure out how to display them all. I want all listings showing and the category list to show all parent categories.

    Are there any listings in the categories that aren’t showing for the location?

    Only populated categories Will show.

    I’m referring to the list of categories showing on the bottom right of the map. For some unknown reason only one category is showing with a check mark. Previously they were all showing.

    So are you saying that there are listings in that location and CPT that are not showing on the map?
    Empty categories will not show.

    You only have 5 listings in 2 categories.
    See Places > Place Categories

    Yes, but Restaurants was showing up originally. The category is not showing now and a search for “Restaurants” results in no results. ??

    Sorry, the link you sent is a list of my posts. Nothing to do with GeoDirectory. I am referring to the small category list that appears on the bottom right of the Google Home Page map. It originally showed the categories I had but now only shows Accommodation and Hotels.

    Please check your GD Permalinsk

    Your Directory Home Page is called “GD Home”

    I recommend you link to that page from your menu.

    I can see on your GD Home page that the “Restaurant” category is not showing. We would like to take a closer look.

    Can you send over ftp information as well?

    Please read this again: Empty categories will not show.
    You have now added one listing to Food and Drink and Restaurants, so now it shows.

    If you empty a category of listings, it will be empty and “Empty categories will not show.”, even if they showed before. Listings in draft, or listings without categories do not count either.
