    Hello,
I’m having troubles with importing a category csv file.

    I followed this instructions: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#import-cats
Downloaded the sample file and also tried downloading the export file and importing it with the added data, and always comes a “HTTP Error” in red

The file attached is the last one I used (based on an exported file, where only I added the last three items. also tried writing a cat-id just for trying and nothing.

I used “open office” and “numbers” to edit the files, and exported as csv on both.

The file is not comma separated, but semi-colon separated.
If you are importing new categories you should leave the cat_id column empty.

Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply in case we need to have a closer look?
    Thanks

Hello, Still with the problem (I changed the last three categories to “test 1/2/3” as I already uploaded manually the other ones, after save it, I opened with a text-edit to check, and is everything separated with comma as it should. I attached the file just in case)

Hello, I’ve tried in the “live” site (not staging) and it worked fine. I don’t know what is the problem in the staging, but for now it doesn’t matter, I’m going to check the link you sent.

    Thank you!
