Hello!
Sorry, let me ask again.
Please post a link or two that show which listings with packages are still showing data that should be hidden.
Thanks
November 18, 2017 at 4:14 pm #405920This is an error, correct?
November 18, 2017 at 4:19 pm #405922Hi Alex, I gave one example of each. Garden of Eden is how it should look. Canna Companion has the error.
November 18, 2017 at 5:05 pm #405929Hello!
The developers are out on weekends, but we will check back as soon as we are able.
We can confirm again that this is a bug with the Supreme Directory theme, that, if you hide the basic fields like website from display in a package that the fields are still shown.
However, I do not know the status of the fix. We are working on that bug and plan to release it with an update to Supreme. We will post an update back to this thread when the update is available.
In my replies I was trying to make sure which examples you were offering that display the behavior.
Thanks
November 18, 2017 at 5:10 pm #405931No worries Alex. I’m glad we’re on the same page. I’ll keep my eye out for the fix.
Have a good weekend!
November 20, 2017 at 6:22 am #406033Hi Scott,
In my last reply, i have updated patch for “When a package expires or downgrades shouldn’t the default category show as the only one? When I go to edit it shows no category and I need to choose one.”
Now we have also fixed issue mentioned at here https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/supreme-directory-issues/page/3/#post-405350
But now it seems you have switched them from Supreme Directory to GEO Travel. Please check in theme Supreme Directory and let us know.
Thanks,
KiranNovember 20, 2017 at 7:30 am #406040Hi Kiran –
I was switching back and forth trying out the themes. I’ll keep it at Supreme for now. I set multiple places to expire tomorrow or 1 day and todays date. That’s somewhat confusing on how to set to downgrade. Do both fields “Alive Dates” and “Expire Date” have to be populated?
Thank you
November 20, 2017 at 7:52 am #406041Hi Scott,
Just checked all the listings mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/category-issue-bug/#post-405848 and all working as expected.
Do both fields “Alive Dates” and “Expire Date” have to be populated?
If you are asking about to run manual downgrade for test purpose.
Then
– Go to any listing edit page > Set expire date older then today > Save.
– Go GeoDirectory > GD Tools > Run Expire Check
That’s it. The listing with older dates will be expired/downgraded.Please check and let us know.
Thanks,
KiranNovember 20, 2017 at 4:43 pm #406120Hi Kiran-
Everything looks great except for the default category is changing after the downgrade.
https://www.vistahemp.com/places/carpinteria/logans-delivery/
I set the default category to “delivery” and added “dispensary” “apparel” and “fabrics”. After the downgrade it showed “apparel” as the default. When I bumped the package back up to Unlimited it only showed “apparel”. The others didn’t come back.
Thank you
Scott
November 21, 2017 at 3:11 am #406170The category may default in alphabetical order when places expire or downgrade.
Take this one: https://www.vistahemp.com/places/santa-barbara/awesome-test-place/
When I took out “apparel”, and left the others: bakery, dispensary, delivery, and fabrics, with fabrics as default), it defaulted to “bakery” when it expired/downgraded.

In case this helps anybody else out there, I wanted to convey the order of operations I used for making changes on a listing in free status without deleting any other contact information.
When a listing dropped from “ultimate” package to the “free” package, and changes needed to be made to the verbiage, or tags, or anything else, I executed these steps:
1. Manually upgrade to “ultimate” again to expose all contact, social media, and website information.
2. Make the changes I needed to make with the listing.
3. Set expire date older than today. Save changes.
4. Run GD expire check to put it back in free so not to delete contact, social, website info.If I missed anything please let me know.
Thank you and hope you all have a great holiday weekend.
Scott
