Category Listing not showing

    Hi, this is my second post in here, so I apologise if it’s the incorrect area for this issue.

    I have a simple geodirectory with just two categories; Places and Events.
    In the “Show description field as editor” I have both categories listed in the field next to it. I think that’s the correct field for what my problem is.
    On the GD Homepage under the log in details, it only lists Places. Events seems to be missing and I can’t find out how to get it back. It was working earlier this year. I’ve updated the GD Tools and so far nothing has changed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Matt,

    That is a widget area, i would guess that page is your home or locations page, so you would add a new widget to the GD home right sidebar, and set the CPT to events.

    Hi,
    many thanks for your prompt reply. I went to geodirectory>Design>Navigation and updated all the fields to include Events.
    That seems to have solved it, but I’ll come back if I have any problems.

    I usually do 😉
