    Hi Folks

When i search for bicycle shops on the home page

    https://dev.shoppingonline.ie/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_shops&spost_category%5B%5D=14&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

there is text on this category search page

    ” Home » You searched for “ ” ”

Can you tell me why its not showing the category ?

We could also maybe remove it as it does show the category in the dropdown as well.

    Thanks

    Scott

    Hi Scott Robins,

Thanks for your post. If your search field is empty, the breadcrumbs will be empty too. I don’t see any issues with it.

    Hi Kor,

So as per my first comment, I am searching for Bicycle Shops using the category dropdown search.

    Kind Regards

There is an option to show custom fields and search terms, but categories are not included in the option at:

GD – Settings – General – Search – Show advanced – Show search terms (for custom fields)

Alex, please correct me if i am wrong, and sorry for the blunt response, but GeoDirectory is a “Directory” plugin right ???

Any directory plugin, theme, component that i have come across in the past from Joomla, to WordPress and there has been many, you are able to search two ways.

    1. Via a category search, usually done via a select dropdown
    2. Keyword search.

to say “but categories are not included in the option at:” is just crazy, as i mentioned, i am happy for us to remove the text

    Home » You searched for “ ” ”

as the category is already displayed in the dropdown on the page, please let me know how i can do this via your plugin.

    Kind Regards

    Scott

    Hi Naveen

Thank you for the update, we hid the text last night due to Alex’s and Kor’s response.

    Kind Regards

    Scott
