Category select based on package?

    Hi guys,

    I’d like to set my site up so that when someone chooses a featured package, that it will automatically add the event to the ‘featured’ category. And also lock down the featured category so that nobody can select it unless they pay for the featured package?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately GD doesn’t have any features to help with that use case, so it would require your own custom code.

    I see. Thanks Alex.

    I’ve seen that it’s possible to exclude certain categories on certain packages. So is it possible to set a default category in the settings somewhere? Then I can just exclude it on the lower packages.

    No, but, I think your developer could help with that with some javascript.
