I was advised to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files because a post rotation feature is not working on my site. Ovbiously I use GD Booster, I know how to clear the cache but how do I reset the cdn files?

Also how often am I supposed to clear the cache? Is there a way for it to happen automatically?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

for the 2nd question, please read the notes in the GD Booster options page under : Directory / Expiration Time.

For the 1st question, I’ll leave that to the developers as I’m not sure about the answer. He’ll let us know asap-

    Thanks

    Hello,

The way GD Booster works as soon as u clear the cache from GD Booster it will not use the same files from the CDN (unless you have excluded some files).

GD Booster has a few presets where it will automatically clear the cache which usually work fine.

If you are still having problems with the post rotation feature (i don’t use VC so dont even know what that is) Please provide a link and explain what it is supposed to do i will take a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Thank you Stiofan.

Here was my original post to the Newspaper 7 Theme:

On the MainStRock.com homepage, the Big Grid 3 (main grid of posts) sort order is set to “Random”. However it is the same posts that appear over and over again. It is not doing a random rotation. I am having the same issue with all of the “Block” elements on this page.

    Please advise.

    THEIR REPLY WAS:

    Hello,

Please check your caching plugin and it’s settings. We recommend using wp super cache and these settings: http://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts can also cause theme elements to not function properly.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thank you!

I assume I should not use wp super cache because I use GD Boost, is that correct? I cleared the cache as they recremended, now I guess I might have to do something with the CDN files.

    Thank you!

    Stiofan,

I have a couple of people during a project on the site. Could I kindly ask that you hold on this ticket until they are completed? Thank you.
